Stair lift power supply

Most of the stair lifts come with a battery within and travel along with it. However, some models have three phase motors and batteries housed to the cabinet either at the top or the bottom of the railing. You can have an inverter system to convert the energy from direct to a three phase alternate. The power usage will be more when the stair lifts are carrying extra load or if the stairs are steeply inclined and if there is a wheelchair attached to a platform.

You need to exercise proper safety measures while accessing the stair lifts. There will be safety edges so that they can pass any obstruction. There are special protective devices so that you can disconnect the power switches in case of emergency. There are soft starts and soft stops to control the speed of the stair lifts. These features will not allow the chair to get jerked and will have a smooth stop and start.
